The Best of Seasonal & Local Produce

The great George Bernard Shaw once said, ‘There is no sincerer love than the love of food’.

This is a mantra that has spurred on any number of chefs struggling to pioneer new ways to create, prepare and present brilliant dishes. Chefs and restaurateurs are always looking for new ways to be original, whether this is through a brand new dish or an old favourite presented differently. The hectic world of wedding catering is no exception.

In our idyllic corner of Cheshire, operating largely from Delamere, we have access to a huge range of incredible local produce. This is where we feel we shine. Our pride is in our ingredients. When we’re searching for inspiration in creating our menus our main concern is where to source the best produce.

It is in that spirit that we spent many months refining our list of suppliers until we had found the best meat, fish and vegetables we could in order to create the freshest dishes for someone’s special day. The focus on fresh ingredients hasn’t hindered our ability to provide visually stunning dishes. We’ve found ways to develop interesting textures with vegetable ribbons and chorizo mousses. We’re lucky enough at one location to have the pick of free range herbs and vegetables from Abbeywood’s popular gardens. Seasonally we gather fine beans, courgettes and lettuce whilst picking the choicest herbs for our dishes. Not only does this showcase a wonderful array of flavours but it shows our commitment to the freshest, local produce in our contemporary take on classic fine dining.
