Lauren Rowlinson created Benjamin Lauren Event Caterers out of a love for events, big and small, and the knowledge that every client is unique. This passion combined with her extensive experience in the hospitality industry has formed the foundation for her business ethos – “edible excellence!”
We are known for our attentive service and our fresh approach to event catering. A personal service and fine dining experience no matter the guest numbers or budget. I am a full time mum to two beautiful daughters and a part time wedding planner based in mid Cheshire.
I fell into weddings after planning my own wedding nearly 11 years ago having started my career journey randomly as a town planner! I love my job and have been part of many fantastic events over the last few years all over Cheshire.
I hope to continue to help more and more couples and to share in their big day as our business continues to grow with the help and support of my husband and the two youngest members of the team my daughters Autumn and Addison.
I am also very lucky with my whole company from my amazing chefs, to our front of house team and also my army of excellent waitresses who help me to provide such an excellent service for all of my customers.
I have been a chef now for almost 20 years, starting fresh out of Stratford upon Avon Catering College. I have worked all over the country in all sorts of circumstances. 12 years ago I re-located to Cheshire and over this time I have gained experience working in just about all the top hotels in Manchester from the 5 star Lowry hotel to Michael Caines’s Abode Hotel. As well as hotel experience I have extensive experience of outside catering, with many different companies across Cheshire, preparing food for anything from weddings to bbq’s for the staff at Aintree race course.
For the last three years I have been the executive chef at Benjamin Lauren Event Catering, It has been an amazing experience with new challenges every week. It’s an absolute pleasure working with Lauren as she is so organised and believes in a hard working ethic.
I began working in the catering industry over 10 years ago. I worked on events ranging from Bar Mitzvahs, a variety Charity Events and Concerts to Corporate Events all over Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
I have worked alongside Lauren for five years now recently taking a far more active role to become the Assistant Event Manager within the Benjamin Lauren family. This role and being a part of a couples special day has hugely ignited my passion!
My ambition for the future is to grow further within our great team gaining much more knowledge and experience but most importantly playing a fundamental part in all our amazing couples making their dream wedding day a reality.
As a family we have always been very concerned where our produce is sourced. Consequently, we grow a variety of the salads, vegetables and fruit in our own vegetable garden at our extended family home and function venue Abbeywood Estate in Cheshire. At a Benjamin Lauren catered event we’ll bakes you cakes made from our own eggs, serve you honey from our own hive, and veggies, herbs & edible flowers that we grow ourselves.
